In short: we collect nothing. HealthWright reads Apple Health with your permission and sends it only to your own Mac, directly over your own network. Your health data never reaches us or iCloud.

What we collect
Nothing. HealthWright does not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, or any other personal information. We run no servers and no accounts, and the app contains no analytics, advertising, crash reporting or tracking of any kind.
What stays on your device
Your Health readings, in a store encrypted with a key held in that device’s keychain and marked to that device only. HealthWright never writes to Apple Health. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and is removed when you uninstall the app.
What leaves your device
- To your own paired devices, over your local network: after you pair them with a six-digit code, your iPhone or iPad sends new readings straight to your Mac, encrypted end to end. It does not pass through anybody’s server, and health data never goes to iCloud.
- If you set up the optional app lock, its authenticator secret syncs between your devices through your own iCloud Keychain. That is Apple’s service, and holds no health data.
Permissions
- Apple Health (iPhone and iPad), read-only — the categories you allow, including Health Records if you grant them. Withdraw it in Settings at any time.
- Face ID or Touch ID — to unlock the app, if you turn the lock on.
- Local network — to find and sync with your own paired devices.
- Files you choose (Mac) — to open an Apple Health export, or save a CSV export.
Buying it, and what the stores say
It is a paid app, bought once from the store; it carries no ads and no in-app purchases. The purchase is handled entirely by Apple or Google, and we receive no payment details or personal information from it.
On the App Store its privacy label reads “Data Not Collected”. Both say the same as this page; if you think a store listing and this page disagree, tell us and we will fix whichever is wrong.
Children
HealthWright is made for the adult whose health readings it holds, and is rated accordingly on the App Store. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete on request. To remove what HealthWright stored:
- Use Erase Everything in HealthWright’s settings to delete the store and its key on that device.
- Uninstall the app to remove everything it stored on that device.
- Withdraw the Health permission in Settings to stop it reading; what it already holds stays until you erase it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
