Do the games need an internet connection?
No. They run entirely on your device. The only optional network use is submitting a score to a leaderboard — Game Center on iPhone, iPad and Mac, Google Play Games on Android — and only when you are signed in to that service.
What about the apps — do they send anything anywhere?
Not to us. We have no server and no account for you to make. Where an app syncs, it syncs directly between your own devices over your own network (or, for FinWright if you choose, your own iCloud). Beyond that, FinWright talks to Plaid using your own Plaid credentials, StockWright asks Yahoo Finance for the prices of the tickers you follow, and AuthWright checks the time against apple.com. HealthWright talks only to your own devices. Each app’s privacy policy has the details.
Where is my progress — or my data — stored?
On your device — in the app’s own storage on Apple platforms, and in app-private storage on Android. There are no accounts and nothing is uploaded to us. Uninstalling the app removes it. Anything held by Game Center or Google Play Games belongs to that service, and you manage it there. See the privacy policy.
My scores are not appearing on the leaderboard.
On iPhone, iPad or Mac, check that Game Center is signed in under your device settings. On Android, open the Google Play Games app and check you are signed in there, then tap the trophy button in the game. If the service is signed out, scores stay local and will not appear in the global leaderboard.
Are your games and apps on Android?
The Daily Word Puzzle is on Google Play now. Cluckwork, A2B Railways, The King's Road and FinWright are on their way, and AuthWright and StockWright are coming to Google Play alongside the App Store — each page links to its listing once it is public. The Daily Word Puzzle, Cluckwork and A2B Railways need Android 9 or later; The King's Road and the apps need Android 10. HealthWright is Apple-only, because Apple Health is.
Do I have to buy it again on Android?
Yes. The App Store and Google Play are separate stores with separate purchases, and neither one can see the other. A purchase on Google Play covers your Android devices; an App Store purchase covers your iPhone, iPad and Mac.
FinWright asks for a Plaid client ID and secret.
It does, and they have to be yours: FinWright connects to your institutions directly rather than through anything of ours, so it needs a Plaid account with the Investments and Transactions products, and Plaid bills that account. To see the app before setting any of that up, choose “Try with sample data” on the first screen.
HealthWright on my Mac cannot see my iPhone.
Both devices have to be on the same network, and the iPhone app needs to have been allowed to read Health. If they still will not find each other, an Apple Health export — Health → your picture → Export All Health Data — opens on the Mac and writes the same rows.
How do I pair my devices in AuthWright or StockWright?
Put both devices on the same network and open Devices in the app on each. On one, choose Add Device: it shows a six-digit code. On the other, tap Pair beside the first device and enter that code. Both screens then show a check code; if they match, tap They Match. Pairing is between your devices only — there is no account, and no server holds a copy.
